The pre cut miter corners saved the day. I had no problems painting the molding before I installed it. The paint covered well. Unfortunately, my home is over 30 years old so with the settling the corners are not perfect. Because of this I needed an extra set of hands (a helper). Some of the corners had a little gap but I applied some chalking and they look wonderful. Once the corners were done it was a snap to install the rest by myselt. I would absolutely recommend this product
